Loader’s Coaches Pty Ltd has an outstanding name in the coach business within Grenfell, Young, across NSW and throughout Australia. Loader’s Coaches is not just about buses, motors, maps and wheels. Loaders Coaches is a long surviving family business with a hearty history and a bright outlook for the future.
We pride ourselves in being a part of the Grenfell community and support many events and clubs in town through sponsorship and advertising. We have long standing relationships with business and government departments, schools, social clubs and associations within Grenfell and surrounding towns.
Our staff are a huge asset to our business. We have many staff who have been with us for long periods, which is an asset in expanding our knowledge base and experience. Our drivers and administration staff who deal directly with the public on a daily basis are helpful and friendly. We take pride and care with our vehicles which is fundamental to our business.
Our History
Loaders Coaches originated in the mid 1950’s with Richard Loader (Senior) being contracted to operate the Mid Western Highway to Grenfell school service. Over a number of years, extra School services were acquired and operated in the local shire.
Today we operate a total of 8 School Bus Services, in both the Grenfell and Young Districts transport 100’s of children to and from School.
In 1968, a tourist coach was acquired by Loaders, and charter and tourist services began to operate, with various types of tours (both accommodated and camping trips), to all parts of Australia, New Zealand and Norfolk Island, all being very successful and highly rated by those who travelled.
In 1972, Richard and Norma Loader took over the day to day running of the business. As a partnership they organised and operated many successful charters and tours all over the Country, as well as the daily operations of the School runs.
In 1996, Loaders Coaches were successful in acquiring a CountryLink contract to operate a service between Grenfell and Lithgow, to connect with the CityRail services to Sydney and beyond. To operate this service, a new coach was acquired, and the service of 2 additional staff members. This service is still in place know now as TrainLink.
A big move was made in January 2009, where Richard, Norma and Mark saw the construction of a large Depot in Brundah Street. This depot allowed all aspects of the business to merge into one location and providing shelter to all the buses. The business had found a permanent home.
Today, Richard and Mark along with their enthusiastic and dedicated crew, operate the business as we now know it with many plans for the future!
We strive to look towards the future, not just for our business, but to continue the positive image within Grenfell. A business such as ours relies on repeat business and we are proud of who we are as a business, and that in itself is a reflection of our business vision and goals.
