Departing Loader's Brundah Street Depot at 6.00 am and Young Railway Station at 6.45 am, we will travel along the Hume Highway towards Sydney with a road side morning tea enroute. Continuing, we set our sights on the Sydney Opera House where we will be treated to a 'Tour and Taste' Experience. The Sydney Opera House is one of Australia's most iconic landmarks, known worldwide for its unusual architectural structure. Did you know that there are more than 1 million roof tiles covering approximately 1.62 hectares sitting over the structure?
Boarding the coach, we make our way to our home away from home for the night, The Metro Hotel Marlow Sydney Central. Here we will check in, take some time to relax and getting ready for our night out to be amazed by The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is visiting Sydney for a short period of time only at ANZ Stadium. I have read several reviews and articles of late and it is advised by many as the ultimate live experience. It is also noted to be a continual sell-out performance delighting hundreds of thousands of people each time.
'Set against the amazing backdrop of a full-size replica of Edinburgh Castle its 1,200 international performers bring together a thrilling mix of music, ceremony, military tradition, theatre and dance from the world's best-massed pipes and drums. It will also feature traditional Scottish favourites including pipers, fiddlers, highland dancers and precision drill teams, together with representatives from around the globe and members of the Australian Defence Force'. At the completion of the show your driver will collect you all and make his way back to the Metro Hotel. Whether you choose to head straight to bed or wonder out for a late-night drink or ice-cream, the remainder of the evening's agenda is completely up to you.
